Summary of Bill HR 628

Bill 119 hr 628, also known as the Organ Donor Reimbursement Act, aims to amend the Public Health Service Act in order to remove the consideration of income for organ recipients when providing reimbursement for expenses to individuals who donate organs. This bill seeks to ensure that individuals who donate organs are not financially burdened by the donation process, regardless of the income level of the recipient.

The main purpose of this bill is to promote organ donation by making it more accessible and affordable for individuals who wish to donate. By eliminating the income consideration for organ recipients, the bill aims to remove any financial barriers that may prevent individuals from donating organs.

In addition to eliminating income consideration, the bill also includes provisions for other purposes related to organ donation. These provisions may include measures to increase awareness about organ donation, improve the organ donation process, and enhance support for organ donors. Overall, Bill 119 hr 628 is a non-partisan effort to promote organ donation by ensuring that individuals who donate organs are not financially disadvantaged. By removing income consideration for organ recipients, this bill aims to make organ donation more accessible and equitable for all individuals, regardless of their financial situation.

I think this bill is a good idea. It will help more people get the organs they need without worrying about how much money they make. This is important for me because I have a family member who needs a transplant. #HRBill628 #OrganDonation
