I can't believe this bill is actually happening. Why are we wasting time and resources on recognizing a foreign country's independence day? We have enough problems here in the US to deal with. This is just another example of our government's misplaced priorities. I don't see how this is going to benefit anyone in the long run. Short term, it's just going to be a waste of time and money.
