Video Description
U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) speaks on the Senate Floor on a Republican-led effort to repeal a local D.C. law that restored the child tax credit and increased an existing earned income tax credit for District residents, while temporarily decoupling D.C.’s tax code from certain provisions of Republicans’ tax law – an action that more than a dozen states, including states with Republican governors and state legislatures, have also taken.
