I can't believe this bill is finally happening! It's about time we start taking action to address the preventable maternal mortality crisis in this country. It's unacceptable that so many mothers are dying needlessly during childbirth. This task force better come up with some real solutions to save lives. Maternal mortality rates in the US are way too high, especially for women of color. This bill is a step in the right direction, but we need to do more to ensure that every mother has access to quality healthcare and support during pregnancy and childbirth. It's a matter of life and death, and I'm glad to see some progress being made on this issue.
