Video Description

Join Rules Committee Ranking Member Jim McGovern (D-MA) as he launches his statewide End Hunger Now Tour with a visit to Quincy Community Action Programs alongside Congressman Stephen Lynch (D-MA). The visit will include a tour of QCAP’s food pantry and Head Start program, followed by a roundtable discussion with local leaders, staff, and community members on how Republicans' cuts to nutrition assistance in their Big Ugly Bill are worsening hunger across Massachusetts. QCAP serves families across the South Shore through emergency food assistance, early childhood education, and other critical anti-poverty programs—many of which rely on federal nutrition funding now under threat. The event will conclude with a press availability.
