Video Description

Members of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition, and House Energy and Commerce Committee lead fellow Democratic colleagues to hold a press conference to oppose the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) assault on environmental protections for the American people. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced he was "driving a dagger straight into the heart of the climate change religion,” including rolling back 31 environmental rules and regulations that protect our clean air and clean water. The Trump administration’s hit list also includes revoking the landmark 2009 "Endangerment Finding," which serves as the foundational scientific finding that climate-changing pollutants are dangerous to Americans’ well-being. Families will pay—with their health and with their wallets—for these giveaways to the planet’s biggest polluters.
